2021 You're a Young Lady Now

 Dear Gabby,

If you are reading your blog now - this is a letter from Grandma, with news from your mom, your aunt Mia, and your uncle John.

This year was a long hard year with COVID 19 in every state. Here in Texas stores closed, restaurants closed, and mostly everyone stayed home. Because we still have our business in Washington, I know that your state was experiencing a great deal of difficulty with COVID as well. I do hope your family is well.

This year I will be 69, Gabby. I hope to see you again before I die, but if I do not, please know how much I have always loved. you. I would love to know how you are doing in school, what hobbies you have - do you play soccer? I'm still available by email, and with the same phone number so reach out!

Your mom has been doing an incredible job running the family business. She has met a nice young man in Texas, and may be getting married next year. His name is Jason, and his family has lived in Texas for generations. She goes to the Gym every day and works out - she's in incredible shape now- then helps me buy groceries, and takes me shopping if I need to while she is booking cases and running tthe business.

John is still living in Saudi Arabia (NEOM) but spends a lot of time in Dubai as he is starting up a new business in Icons. He sure would like to hear from you, he's on Telegram, What'sApp, TikTok.

Mia is still living with her husband and your two cousins Connor & Tina who love gaming and anime, in Las Vegas. They have a big house with a pool and a guest house. All of them say hi, and wish we could hear from  you.

I spent the last year in Morocco, Saudi Arabia in Dubai travelling around - I'll post some pictures so you can see them. I went to see your grandfather, Samier and his sisters who live in Jeddah - they all ask about you, especially your Auntie Haneen who is now married to your Uncle John.

All of our contact information is listed on this blog, Gabby. We urge you to use it if you can.

Your family from your Mother's side wish you the happiest of Birthdays this year, dear one. We miss, and love you so much.

Happy Birthday to You

🍓🍓🍓Happy Birthday Gabby - 2021

We miss you a great deal, and as always this is  a sad, and a  happy day for us.  Your mom and I are still in Texas, where we have a home just north of Ft. Worth. Your mom is running the business and grandma is retired now. Uncle John, and grandpa Samier are both in Saudi Arabia, and Uncle John is working at a place called NEOM, which is an amazing city built as a Smart City in Saudi Arabia.

As always we tried texting and calling your father today. He ignored us, and as usual did not respond back to our text messages. But, that's ok, as we know that someday you will see this blog, and reach out. We have the same contact information - Mom - 214-447-4919, Grandma 619-403-9027. Or you can just comment on the blog and give us your contact information, and we will find you.

Happy Birthday, Gabby. I hope you are having a wonderful wonderful time. With love,

Grandma, and Mommy

It's Christmas Again - 2020 Missing you So Much

Hi Gabby, my dearest granddaughter -

I tried to call you yesterday - I made a video call to your father, but I believe my number is blocked, or he may have changed his phone number. I truly believed that he would relent on keeping you from your family by now - but I guess he will not change his position, or tell you the truth about your mother, me and your uncle John.

We are all well, and living in Dallas Texas. We have a company here called Oasis Back-Up Care, Inc. You can find us on the Web at https://oasisbackup.care - just click on this link, and leave a message in the form on the blog site. I'll contact you immediately.

Your Mom is working hard every day to make things possible for you to be together. She is the CEO of Oasis and responsible for all of our big decisions. Every day she thinks of you and waits for a time when we can get in contact with you. No, she is not dead as your father has told you. She is alive, very healthy, and misses you very much.

Find us on FaceBook by searching for Sally Knowles, Dana Knowles

John is here with us too, and completing our new website for the business. He may go back to Saudi Arabia for awhile to see your grandfather this coming year, but he sends his love and Christmas wishes to you.

I am getting older but still hopeful I will get to see my little Gabby before too much time passes. There is nothing in the world I pray for more. The pain of having you ripped from our family has been so hard to bear for all of us, and I pray when you have a cell phone you will call me at this number 619-403-9027 or send me a text message.

We've seen some pictures of you that were taken about a year ago! You are getting so big, it makes me cry when I think of all the things I have missed with you. Hoping to see you soon, Merry Christmas, with love -

Grandma, Mom, and Uncle John

Counting the May Days till we see Gabby Gonzalez

Gabby,

This letter is from Grandma - We've been talking about you and thinking about you and crying about you so much, I thought I just needed to let you know what was going on, and why.

You are a pretty big girl now, and as I imagine you, smart and sure of yourself - as you were when you were little. So you will understand that a lot has happened since you left my house and went to live with your dad.

The last time I saw you was at Easter in 2015. Remember we stayed in a hotel? You were sad, and told me that Daddy had said Mommy was dead. But I told you she wasn't. We had a party with an Easter Basket and we went to Build A Bear! I still have everything you bought :) It's a really big big box! Remember we were at the mall and surprise, Mommy was there too. You both were so happy that day.

Later that day after you and I met Daddy, I know he asked you questions. I'm sorry you had to go through all that. After that day, we were not allowed to talk to you or see you. Uncle John travelled to your house a few months later. Grandma was sick and could not travel. When John arrived Daddy made him leave. He said that he would have Uncle John arrested. We were all so sad because we could hear you crying for us in the house. Even now, writing this, I am so sad, Gabby. I never wanted you to go through anything like this.  I am so sorry.

After that I made this blog for you to read someday and get in touch with your Mom and me and Uncle John.

I want you to know Gabby that you have not been forgotten. Not at all. Things are changing, and will get better, I promise you. In fact, they are better already - but no one knows. :) See? Now we have a secret. Love, You To the Moon and Back.

Grandma
